Roulette is a game of chance, but that doesn't mean you can't win at roulette you can.
All you need to do is to be able to play the correct table and know the best bets, it's that easy!
The wrong way to win at roulette
Many players go about trying to win at roulette the wrong way by using a system, to help get the odds in their favour. Problem is they don't work.
If it's a game of chance (and roulette is) every spin is independent of every other and systems cannot by definition work.
If the ball falls on red 55 times in a row or 155 times the odds still remain 5050 for the next spin. Past data is of no use to predict the future, so forget systems.
Getting the odds in your favour
Many players believe in luck and their time is due, but to win at roulette you need to simply do two things, the odds are as good as their going to be and for a game of chance at 1.35% in favour of the house there pretty good.
Two ways to win at roulette
There are only two things you need to know to win at roulette:
Play the table with the best odds and place the bets with the best odds, that's it. You then have as much chance to win at roulette as any other player and will have reduced the house edge as low as you can.
Here are the two factors to keep in mind to win at roulette
Play the European wheel
The European wheel has 37 slots with a single 0; the American wheel has an extra slot, a 00 to making 38 slots, the upshot of this is that the house advantage is bigger on the American table.
The house edge is 5.26% for the American wheel but only 2.7% for the European wheel, so you need to play this table to cut the
house advantage.
Best odds
Use bets whose odds are similar to their payouts, betting on Even, Odd, Low, (numbers 1 to 18), High, (numbers 19 to 36), Red, or Black.
These bets pay out odds of 1: 1. Your odds of winning are just under half, making it a good way to bet, that maximizes your bankroll
The best of all!
On many European wheels you will find a bet which takes advantage of a rule called 'en prison.'
Players can place an even money bet and the ball lands on zero, however you don't lose your bet.
Your bet is carried forward to the next spin or 'imprisoned'. If your bet wins, you take it back.
The house edge is just 1.35%, making it the bet with the best odds of all to win at roulette.
Stay away from all other bets as the odds are to long and you will lose over time.
The above bets will get the odds in your favor as much as possible and help you win at roulette.
Roulette is a great fun game and cannot be beaten for excitement and glamour.
It's a nice break from more intense games of skill like blackjack or poker and the fact you can play with a small house edge against you is an added bonus and maximizes your chances of winning at roulette. |
